Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter, softened

  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light.
  4. Add egg and apple cider to the butter mixture, mix well.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients, stir until just combined.
  6. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before slicing.
