Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
- Combine both mixtures and stir until just combined.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Dip apple rings into the batter, allowing excess to drip off.
- Fry the apple rings until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve warm with syrup or your choice of toppings.
