Baked Italian Grinder Sandwiches are a delicious and hearty meal option. They feature layers of Italian meats, cheese, and a flavorful sauce, all baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of Italian bread
  • 8 ounces salami, sliced
  • 8 ounces ham, sliced
  • 8 ounces pepperoni, sliced
  • 8 ounces provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the Italian bread in half horizontally.
  3. Spread marinara sauce on the bottom half of the bread.
  4. Layer salami, ham, and pepperoni on top of the sauce.
  5. Add provolone cheese over the meats.
  6. Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper on top.
  7. Replace the top half of the bread.
  8. Brush olive oil on top of the sandwich.
  9. Wrap the sandwich in aluminum foil.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese melts.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing.
