Baked stuffed pasta shells are large pasta shells filled with a savory mixture and topped with sauce and cheese.
Ingredients

- 20 large pasta shells
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each pasta shell with the cheese mixture.
- Spread half of the marinara sauce in a baking dish.
- Place the stuffed shells on top of the sauce.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the shells.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil, sprinkle extra mozzarella on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can add cooked ground meat or vegetables to the cheese mixture for extra flavor.
- Use different types of cheese as per your preference.
- This dish can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
