Ingredients

  • 1 can of crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips
  • 1 cup of chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1 cup of maraschino cherries
  • 1 cup of whipped cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish.
  3. Layer sliced bananas and crushed pineapple at the bottom of the dish.
  4. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the fruit.
  5. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix.
  6. Top with chocolate chips, nuts, and cherries.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving.
  9. Serve with whipped cream on top.
