Delicious beef and cheese filled chimichangas.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 can refried beans
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin. Mix well.
  3. Warm flour tortillas in a microwave or on a skillet.
  4. Spread refried beans on each tortilla.
  5. Add beef mixture and cheese on top of the beans.
  6. Fold the tortilla to form a burrito shape.
  7. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan.
  8. Fry each chimichanga until golden brown.
  9. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
