  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic over medium heat.
  2. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Add elbow macaroni.
  6. Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until pasta is tender.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  8. If desired, stir in shredded cheese until melted.

Notes

  • You can use ground turkey as a substitute for beef.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms.
