- 1 cup buttermilk

- 1 tablespoon red food coloring
- 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies
- 1 cup softened butter
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine buttermilk, oil, eggs, vanilla, and food coloring.
- Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until smooth.
- Divide the batter between the prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cakes cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
- To make frosting, beat butter until creamy, then add powdered sugar and milk.
- Fold in crushed Oreo cookies.
- Frost the cooled cakes with Oreo frosting.
Notes
- You can adjust the amount of crushed Oreos for more flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
