These Brown Butter Dulce de Leche Rice Krispie Treats are a delicious twist on a classic dessert.

- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup dulce de leche
- 6 cups Rice Krispies
- 10 ounces marshmallows
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown.
- Add the marshmallows and dulce de leche, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in salt.
- Slowly fold in the Rice Krispies until evenly coated.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
- For added flavor, sprinkle with sea salt before it cools.
