Description
Deliciously rich and nutty rice krispie treats made with brown butter.
Ingredients

- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown.
- Add marshmallows to the browned butter and stir until melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt.
- Add Rice Krispies cereal and mix until well coated.
- Press mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
- You can add chocolate chips for extra flavor.
- Adjust the salt to enhance the sweetness.
