  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  3. Remove leaves from cabbage and blanch them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix ground beef, cooked rice, onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Place a spoonful of filling in each cabbage leaf and roll tightly.
  6. Place rolls seam-side down in a baking dish.
  7. Pour tomato sauce over the cabbage rolls.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  9. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
