Description
Cajun boiled eggs served in a spicy garlic broth.
Ingredients

- 6 large eggs
- 4 cups water
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil in a pot.
- Add Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Carefully add eggs to boiling water.
- Boil eggs for 10 minutes for hard-boiled.
- Remove eggs and place in ice water to cool.
- In a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté until fragrant.
- Add broth to the pan and bring to a simmer.
- Peel cooled eggs and place in the broth.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
- Let eggs marinate in the broth for added flavor.
