Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chopped apples
- 1 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine applesauce, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Fold in chopped apples.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
- Drizzle caramel sauce on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

- Let the cake cool before serving.
- Serve warm with ice cream for added flavor.
