Description
Delicious caramelized onion burgers topped with cheese and served on toasted buns.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 slices of cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 15 minutes.
- Season ground beef with salt and pepper and form into patties.
- Grill or pan-fry patties for about 5 minutes on each side.
- Place cheese on patties during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Toast hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
- Assemble burgers with caramelized onions on top.
Notes
- You can use other types of cheese if preferred.
- Add condiments like ketchup or mustard if desired.
