Ingredients

- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onions and cook until caramelized, about 15 minutes.
- In a pot, boil green beans for 5 minutes, then drain.
- In a large bowl, combine green beans, caramelized onions, vegetable broth, cream, thyme, and rosemary.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
- Top with breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Use fresh herbs for better flavor.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Can be made ahead and reheated.
