Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add onions and cook until caramelized, about 15 minutes.
  4. In a pot, boil green beans for 5 minutes, then drain.
  5. In a large bowl, combine green beans, caramelized onions, vegetable broth, cream, thyme, and rosemary.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  7. Top with breadcrumbs.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
