Description

A delicious cheeseburger subs recipe that combines the flavors of a cheeseburger in a sub sandwich.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 sub rolls
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup pickles
  • Ketchup and mustard to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the meat mixture into 4 equal patties.
  4. Cook the patties on the grill or skillet until fully cooked, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  5. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
  6. Toast the sub rolls on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Assemble the subs by placing a patty in each roll.
  8. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, ketchup, and mustard.
