A delicious cheeseburger subs recipe that combines the flavors of a cheeseburger in a sub sandwich.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 sub rolls
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup pickles
- Ketchup and mustard to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium heat.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form the meat mixture into 4 equal patties.
- Cook the patties on the grill or skillet until fully cooked, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
- Toast the sub rolls on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
- Assemble the subs by placing a patty in each roll.
- Top with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, ketchup, and mustard.
Notes
- Feel free to customize toppings as desired.
- Leftover patties can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
