Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Spread half of the brownie batter in the prepared pan.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter over the cream cheese layer.
  9. Use a knife to swirl the layers together.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set. Let cool before cutting.
