Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add softened butter and mix until crumbly.
- In a separate bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, then add egg and garlic.
- Knead the dough until smooth.
- Roll out the dough and sprinkle with cheese.
- Fold the dough and cut into strips.
- Twist the strips and place in muffin tins.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
Notes
- Let the cruffins cool before serving.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- You can use different cheeses for variety.
