- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, cheddar cheese, onion, ketchup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined and form into a loaf shape.
- Place the meatloaf in a greased baking dish.
- Spread the mashed potatoes on top of the meatloaf.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the mashed potatoes.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until the meat is cooked through.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- You can use ground turkey or chicken instead of beef.
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables to the meat mixture.
- Use leftover mashed potatoes for a quicker preparation.
