Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pre-made pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add mushrooms, cook until soft.
  4. Stir in flour, cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add chicken broth and milk, whisk until smooth.
  6. Mix in chicken, peas, carrots, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  7. Pour mixture into a pie crust.
  8. Cover with another pie crust, seal edges, and cut slits on top.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
