Ingredients

- 1 pound cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 pre-made pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add mushrooms, cook until soft.
- Stir in flour, cook for 1 minute.
- Add chicken broth and milk, whisk until smooth.
- Mix in chicken, peas, carrots, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Pour mixture into a pie crust.
- Cover with another pie crust, seal edges, and cut slits on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Use leftover chicken for quicker prep.
- Feel free to add other vegetables.
- Let it cool before serving.
