Description

A delicious blend of chicken parmesan flavors in a grilled cheese sandwich.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
  2. Place one slice, butter side down, in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add shredded chicken and marinara sauce on top of the bread.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese over the chicken.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
  6. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Flip the sandwich and cook until the other side is golden and cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes.

Notes

  • Use leftover chicken for faster preparation.
  • Pair with a side salad for a complete meal.
