Description
A delicious Chicken Shawarma served with a creamy garlic sauce.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds boneless chicken thighs
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons ground paprika
- 1 tablespoon ground turmeric
- 1 tablespoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine garlic, cumin, paprika, turmeric, coriander, cayenne pepper, olive oil, yogurt, lemon juice, and salt.
- Add the chicken thighs and coat them well with the mixture.
- Cover and marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
- Cook the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then slice thinly.
- Serve with creamy garlic sauce and garnish with parsley.
