  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for mousse)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (for swirl)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  3. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Beat for 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in boiling water until smooth.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared bundt pan.
  7. Melt chocolate chips and mix with heavy cream and powdered sugar to create the mousse.
  8. Pour mousse mixture over the batter in the pan.
  9. Top with the remaining batter.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto a rack.
