Delicious cranberry cinnamon rolls with a twist of flavor.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
- 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
- In a saucepan, heat milk and butter until warm. Add yeast and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Add the egg and mix until smooth.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread cranberries and nuts evenly.
- Roll the dough tightly and slice into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk for icing. Drizzle over warm rolls.
Notes
- Use fresh or frozen cranberries.
- Consider adding orange zest for extra flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
