- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and melted butter.
- Press half of the mixture into a greased baking pan.
- In a saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and water; cook until cranberries burst.
- Spread the cranberry mixture over the base in the pan.
- Top with the remaining oat mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool, then cut into bars.
Notes
- Store bars in an airtight container.
- For added flavor, consider adding nuts.
- Use frozen cranberries if fresh ones are not available.
