- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 large egg whites

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and water. Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water. Stir into the cranberry mixture and cook until thickened.
- Pour the cranberry filling into the pre-baked pie crust.
- In a mixing bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add sugar and continue to beat until stiff peaks form. Stir in vanilla.
- Spread meringue over the cranberry filling, ensuring it touches the crust.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until meringue is golden.
- Let cool before serving.
