A tangy and sweet cranberry sauce perfect for holiday meals.
Ingredients

- 12 ounces fresh cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
Instructions
- Rinse the cranberries under cold water.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil.
- Add cranberries and orange zest to the saucepan.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes until the cranberries burst.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
Notes
- Can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
- Great as a condiment for turkey or ham.
