- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 can (15 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 8 ounces lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Add ground beef, cook until browned.
- Stir in chicken broth, crushed tomatoes, and lasagna noodles.
- Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and ricotta cheese until well combined.
- Remove from heat, top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve with garlic bread for a complete meal.
- You can substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
- Adjust the thickness by adding more broth if desired.
