Ingredients
- Brussels sprouts – 1 pound
- Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
- Salt – 1 teaspoon
- Pepper – 1/2 teaspoon
- Parmesan cheese – 1/2 cup, grated
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow leaves.
- Boil the Brussels sprouts for 5 minutes until slightly tender.
- Drain and let them cool slightly.
- Place the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet and gently smash each one with a fork.
- Drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the smashed Brussels sprouts.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until crispy and golden.
