- 4 mini onions
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Slice the tops off the mini onions and peel them.
- Soak the onions in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip the soaked onions in the flour mixture, coating them well.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the onions until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve with creamy buttermilk ranch dip.
