Crispy parmesan fried tortellini is a delicious appetizer or snack. It features tortellini coated in a crispy parmesan crust and fried until golden.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of tortellini (approximately 9 oz)
  • 1 cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and let cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. Dip each tortellini in the egg, then coat with the parmesan and breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Add coated tortellini to the pan and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
