- 2 lbs chicken thighs
- 1 cup bourbon
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Place chicken thighs in the crock pot.
- In a bowl, mix bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, garlic, ginger, and pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks.
- Serve with green onions on top.
Notes
- Use boneless chicken for easier shredding.
- Adjust brown sugar based on your sweetness preference.
- Serve over rice or noodles.
