Description

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, spices, salt, eggs, and evaporated milk until smooth.
  2. Pour the pumpkin mixture into the crock pot.
  3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture.
  4. Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix.
  5. If using, sprinkle nuts on top.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until set.
  7. Serve warm with whipped cream if desired.
