Description
A warm and comforting dessert made with pumpkin and spices, cooked in a crock pot.
Ingredients

- 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, spices, salt, eggs, and evaporated milk until smooth.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into the crock pot.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture.
- Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix.
- If using, sprinkle nuts on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until set.
- Serve warm with whipped cream if desired.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Can be served with ice cream.
