Description

A hearty and comforting casserole made with ground beef, potatoes, and cheese, cooked slowly in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the crockpot.
  3. Add half of the browned beef and half of the onions on top of the potatoes.
  4. Spread half of the cream of mushroom soup over the meat.
  5. Sprinkle half of the cheese over the soup.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Pour milk over the top and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until potatoes are tender.
