Description
A hearty and comforting dish made with pierogi, kielbasa, and cheese cooked in a slow cooker.
Ingredients

- 1 package frozen pierogi (16 oz)
- 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Layer half of the frozen pierogi in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add half of the kielbasa and onion on top.
- Sprinkle half of the cheese over the layer.
- In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and chicken broth. Pour half over the layers in the crockpot.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining pierogi, kielbasa, onion, and cheese.
- Pour the remaining soup mixture on top. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until heated through and bubbly.
Notes
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
- Serve with a dollop of sour cream on top.
