A delicious dessert made from croissants soaked in a rich custard.
Ingredients

- 4 croissants, torn into pieces
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, cream, eggs, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Add the torn croissant pieces to the mixture and let them soak for 15 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden and the custard is set.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
- Top with whipped cream or fruit if desired.
- Can be made a day ahead and reheated.
