Danish Dream Cake is a rich and moist cake topped with a coconut and caramel layer.
Ingredients

- 200g all-purpose flour
- 200g sugar
- 200g butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 200ml milk
- 100g shredded coconut
- 100g brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Grease and flour a baking pan.
- In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Combine flour and baking powder, then add to the mixture alternately with milk.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- In a saucepan, combine shredded coconut, brown sugar, and butter over medium heat.
- Spread the coconut mixture over the cake and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
- Let the cake cool before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can be served with whipped cream.
