- 4 medium apples, thinly sliced

- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pie crust and place it in a tart pan.
- In a bowl, mix sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
- Arrange the apple mixture over the crust.
- Drizzle melted butter over the apples.
- Brush the edges of the crust with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the apples are tender and the crust is golden.
- Allow to cool before serving.
