Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened for topping

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, salt, and flour. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place in a greased bowl and cover. Let rise for 1 hour.
  5. Punch down the dough and divide into 12 pieces.
  6. Shape each piece into a ball and place in a greased baking dish.
  7. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  9. Melt the remaining butter and mix with minced garlic and parsley.
  10. Brush the garlic butter mixture over the rolls.
  11. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add Parmesan cheese to the garlic butter.
  • These rolls can be frozen after baking.
