Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add butter and mix until combined.
  4. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden.
  9. Let cool before serving.
