A flavorful twist on traditional meatloaf with a spicy Gochujang glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Gochujang
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix well and shape into a loaf.
  4. Place the meatloaf in a baking dish.
  5. In another bowl, mix Gochujang, soy sauce, and brown sugar.
  6. Spread the Gochujang mixture over the meatloaf.
  7. Bake for 1 hour or until fully cooked.
  8. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Serve with mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
  • Can be made ahead and reheated.
