Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 2 ounces gouda cheese
- 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 cup onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Place sliced mushrooms and onions on a baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes.
- Assemble the sandwich with gouda cheese, roasted mushrooms, and onions between the bread slices.
- Cook on a skillet over medium heat until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 4-5 minutes per side.

- Use your favorite type of bread.
- For extra flavor, add herbs or spices to the mushrooms and onions while roasting.
