Description
A savory hamburger steak served with rich gravy.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Form into patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook patties for 5 minutes on each side or until browned.
- Remove patties and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and stir in flour.
- Gradually add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until thickened.
- Return patties to skillet and simmer in gravy for 10 minutes.
Notes
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
- Adjust seasoning according to taste.
