Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form into patties.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook patties for 5 minutes on each side or until browned.
  5. Remove patties and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, melt butter and stir in flour.
  7. Gradually add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until thickened.
  8. Return patties to skillet and simmer in gravy for 10 minutes.
