Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 cups onions, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp flour

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the patties until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add sliced onions and sauté until soft.
  6. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  7. Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until thickened.
  8. Return the patties to the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes.
  9. Serve with onion gravy on top.
