Description
This is a delicious homemade cinnamon swirl banana bread that combines ripe bananas with a rich cinnamon flavor.

- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork.
- Stir in the melted butter.
- Add baking soda and salt, mix well.
- Add sugar, egg, and vanilla, stir until combined.
- Mix in the flour until just incorporated.
- In a small bowl, combine cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Pour half of the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture over the batter.
- Add the remaining batter, then top with the rest of the cinnamon mixture.
- Swirl the batter gently with a knife.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Notes
- Store the bread in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Can be frozen for up to 2 months.
- Use ripe bananas for best flavor.
