Ingredients

- 1 pie crust
- 2 cups cooked meat (beef or lamb)
- 1 cup potatoes, diced
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, sauté onions until translucent.
- Add meat, potatoes, and carrots; cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Add beef broth, thyme, salt, and pepper; simmer for 10 minutes.
- Pour filling into the pie crust.
- Cover with another pie crust and seal edges.
- Cut slits on top for steam to escape.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Let the pie cool for 10 minutes before serving.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
