Homemade pineapple candy is a sweet and chewy treat made from fresh pineapple.
Ingredients

- 1 fresh pineapple, peeled and cut into small pieces
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Combine water, sugar, and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir until sugar dissolves completely.
- Add pineapple pieces to the saucepan.
- Cook on medium heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Spread the mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Let it dry for 24 hours at room temperature.
- Cut into pieces and enjoy.
