A delicious twist on traditional lasagna using pizza ingredients.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the meat is browned.
- Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce in a baking dish.
- Layer 3 noodles over the sauce, then spread half of the ricotta cheese and a third of the mozzarella cheese on top.
- Add half of the remaining meat sauce and half of the pepperoni slices.
- Repeat the layers, ending with noodles and remaining meat sauce on top.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Let the pizzagna cool for 10 minutes before serving.
- Use your favorite pizza toppings for variation.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
