Instructions

  1. Prepare the pie crust and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, dissolve gelatin in cold water.
  3. In a saucepan, combine brewed coffee, sugar, and whiskey. Heat gently.
  4. Add dissolved gelatin to the coffee mixture and stir until smooth.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  6. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  7. Fold whipped cream into the coffee mixture.
  8. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  10. Garnish with chocolate shavings before serving.
