- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup pasta (small shapes like macaroni or shells)
- 2 cups spinach, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the Italian sausage over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic; sauté until soft.
- Pour in the chicken broth and diced tomatoes.
- Stir in the pasta and Italian seasoning.
- Simmer for about 10 minutes until pasta is cooked.
- Add chopped spinach and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the thickness by adding more broth if desired.
- Use any type of pasta you prefer.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
